As a commercial photographer, I love to with different companies to visually tell their unique stories. Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Vancouver-based architectural design firm, Formwerks. Formwerks is a full-service design house that possesses a portfolio of over 600 custom single-family homes and 2500 homes within multi-family communities.
Formwerks are in the process of moving into a new office space. As a result, they wanted to have professional photographs taken of their employees in the new office, to showcase the space and the team that makes Formwerks such a great company.
We started the shoot by photographing the employees in different rooms of the new office, showcasing the unique character of each space.
I shot a variety mix of wide-angle shots and close-up portraits, highlighting both the new office space and the passionate individuals who bring it to life. It is always a challenge to work on-location, with large awkward lights.
Overall, it was a great pleasure to work with Formwerks and to be able to capture the spirit of their company.
