I worked with a local daycare company, Brightpath Kids, in fall 2020. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, as capturing the innocence and joy of children can be a delicate task.
The shoot itself was both an exciting and challenging experience. Capturing the essence of childhood, with all its innocence and wonder requires a certain level of sensitivity and patience. I arrived at the daycare early in the morning to set up my equipment and get to know the little ones before the shoot. The staff at the daycare were incredibly helpful, making sure the children were well-fed and happy before we began.
As soon as the children arrived, I could see their energy and excitement. They were eager to play and explore, which made for some great candid shots. I also set up a few staged shots to capture the children participating in different activities, such as painting and playing with toys.
Overall, it was a truly fulfilling experience to be able to capture such special moments and memories of these children at the daycare. It was a joy to be a part of this project and to help promote such a wonderful organization. I am thrilled that the photos turned out so well and have been able to help attract more families who are looking for a safe and nurturing place for their children.
