Share (Shareholder Association for Research and Education) held a conference in Vancouver recently and I was hired to shoot 40 of their employee headshots. The conference was held in Coal Harbour at the Westin Resort, and I arrived 30 minutes early to set up my headshot background and digitech station. Normally I don’t use a […]
I love shooting fashion style business branding photos. These were photographed on-location at Daniella Granzotto‘s place in Yaletown. I love how minimal this shoot was, we took an hour, got through so many looks and I only used a simple one-light setup. This is my favourite style shoot, single light, on-location fashion shoot.
I love working with Tasya Teles because she always finds really cool locations and concepts for the shoot. For this shoot, we shot on-location at a private penthouse in Yaletown as well as at Blah in Crosstown. These were published in LO’AMMI Magazine in June 2026. We used the employees as models, which really adds authenticity to the images, especially in an era of AI. Working with non-models means lots of directing and […]
I love shooting birthday shoots! Renee Reina was celebrating her 40th birthday and wanted to celebrate in style. We rented a beautiful natural light studio, and I brought my battery-powered strobes to complete the lighting on this cool shoot. Later we went out and celebrated in style in Yaletown.
One of my favourite things about branding photography is learning about the work that all the business do. Tara and Tess from Harmony Speech Therapy were no different, it was a joy getting to know them and learn about the work they do.
food. I really enjoyed getting to know the staff at The Acorn restaurant, in Vancouver BC. I got a chance to follow them around for a shift, from the staff meeting to the plating and cooking in the kitchen to full service dinner. While I do love working with a food stylist, and in food […]
