Re-brand with Renee Reina The Mom Room Podcast

This summer I had the pleasure of working  with host Renee Reina from The Mom Room to create images for their rebrand. Timing was difficult for this shoot, as I only had a few days off during the month of June and the shoot took place in Toronto. The only time I haa multiple days in a row off was right before my half – marathon at the end of June. I flew in Thursday, shot Friday, and flew home Saturday night. I finished my first half marathon Sunday morning in Vancouver in great time.

The shoot was held at Mint Room Studios, a stunning facility located in the bustling heart of downtown Toronto. Because of the timing for this shoot, I didn’t want to check any luggage so I brought my camera on carry-on and  I  rented photography equipment from FilmPlus, which was conveniently located near the studio.
Hair and makeup was running late, so we had to cut the shoot short. We only had 1.5 hours to shoot all the looks.

Partnering with a clothing stylist, Charly Goss from Oakville, Ontario, was truly a highlight of the experience. Charly’s  eye for detail and impeccable taste really made the shoot perfect. Charly had a bunch of looks for Renee that perfectly represented the overall aesthetic of the rebrand.

Renee was a natural front of the camera, and made it easy to capture a wide range of expressive and dynamic shots.
To have been a part of this rebranding process and to have had the opportunity to work with such a talented team is an experience for which I am deeply grateful.
