I think storytelling is really important in fashion photography, and it was lovely to see model and stylist Margo had the same vision in mind. We started the session at her house on a rainy november day, feeling rather stuck when we planned an outdoor photoshoot on the beach. Using creative composition and shooting techniques, […]
I really enjoyed working with Itay Ohayon and creating this modelling portfolio together. Small shoots like this, just me, my camera, a model and beautiful natural light, are my favourite types of shoots. I love it when the model styles themselves too, it’s natural and organic to them. English Bay in Vancouver BC has some […]
It was a blast going intoVancouver’s Avison Young downtown office on a Saturday and having the whole multi level office to ourselves to shoot these images. For this shoot, the aim was a mixture of professional headshots and business branding mixed with modern fashion editorial and I think we nailed it!

I go in for weekly shoots and go through 100-150 products during this day. Photographing second hand products produces a challenge because the items aren’t perfect, some have […]
Part one of recent work with local Vancouver company Threads of Apollo. Throughout the spring – fall I shoot a few times with this company, editorials and e-commerce. What I love about this company is how eco-friendly their leather jackets are. First of all, all their jackets are make from discarded sheep leather from a […]
Leah Yard works out of a beautiful studio full of natural light in the heart of Chinatown in Vancouver BC. In the spring the streets are lined with cherry blossoms and vegan restaurants and hip lounges surround the area. I feel in love with Leah’s jewelry, specifically her layered necklaces and zodiac jewelry. Our model […]

I loved working with local Vancouver designer Madison Pragnell. A recent fashion design graduate of VCAD, Madison has worked hard since graduation to create a sustainable, minimal and timeless collection. This local Vancouver fashion designer has sourced responsible suppliers and manufacturers and uses animal free leather in her clothing.
We shot in a studio in Gastown for this industrial parisan style shoot. The loft studio was rented from steshaho.com, and we used solely natural light for this shoot. Makeup artist was Happi Kaur and model was Shareen Jupp.
